CFW Careers Events

CFW Careers addresses various aspects of professional development, including helping candidates and companies expand their knowledge base and network. Building on our company history and the seminars that our Founder, David King, launched over 40 years ago, we conduct events throughout the year: from our larger scale women’s leadership event series, Changing the Conversation, to our more intimate small-group gatherings, CFW Industry Insights evenings and benchmarking roundtables. We seek to inspire and contribute to positive change and meaningful conversations across all levels, building a community of engaged professionals.

Changing the Conversation

Having been committed to advancing women in business since our founding 43 years ago, we find it all the more critically important today to take on continued inequality in pay and representation in the workforce. Changing the Conversation 2017 will be devoted to Advancing Women in Business through programming that moves from identifying the issues, which have been so well documented, to What can we do about it? both in terms of our own careers and corporate and government policy-making.

Benchmarking

Our carefully curated sales manager benchmarking roundtables provide an opportunity for small group networking, idea generation, and benchmarking of best practices. Over wine and small bites, sales managers from complementary industries and backgrounds can discuss topics ranging from hiring and interviewing strategies to motivating team members, managing up and managing down, and advancing careers.

Changing the Conversation: Webinar Event!

Join us for a thought-provoking webinar led by Cameron Hume, Vice President of Direct to Consumer Marketing at BlackRock, to discuss unique insights on the coming wave of wealth toward women and its impact across industries.

As part of CFW Careers’ ongoing Changing the Conversation series, Cameron will discuss the growing personal wealth of women in the United States, currently at $14 trillion and expected to sky rocket to $20 trillion by 2020.

Together, women have enormous economic power – Cameron will provide us with actionable strategies for women to harness this power and engage with their personal finances, so that they are prepared to take control of their money and better meet their financial goals.

Next Changing the Conversation Event: TBD

2017

Changing the Conversation is an event series sponsored by CFW Careers in collaboration with our team of committed volunteers and advocates.

Our belief is that by advancing women toward corporate leadership, we can help all women across the socioeconomic spectrum.

Mission Statement

The mission of Changing the Conversation is to positively impact gender equality within the business sector, seeking equal representation of women in the workforce and in leadership.

This Mission Is Fueled By

  • An interactive event series connecting women executives to peers to create a network committed to advancing female leadership
  • Advocacy in the private and public sectors for policies that support the prominence and permanence of women in the workforce
  • Professional guidance and career development for women in business, including job placement, transition coaching, and mentoring

CFW Careers' events and other initiatives for women are inspired by the ideals of our founder, David King, who has been an ardent champion for women in sales leadership for over 40 years. We strive to give voice to women in business, advance their careers, and contribute to the conversation about gender equality in the workplace.
